I go by many names, but here, you can call me JD. Online anonymity is a dying resource, so forgive me if I cling to it slightly. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, and created this website in order to tell my stories of traveling to and teaching English Language Arts in the Alaskan Bush.

In addition to teaching, I nurse several burgeoning hyperfixations on Pokemon, Taylor Swift, literature, and tabletop roleplaying games. Most of all, I love stories; telling them, listening to them… it excites me to no end. Click here to listen to one of mine.
